Hotels in AnguillaA sprawling 5-star beachfront golf and family resort
8.9/10
A strong luxury pick for beach-loving families, with more activities than intimacy.
Aurora is a sprawling five-star beach and golf resort, and we'd put it high on the list for families who want plenty to do without sacrificing comfort. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the spacious rooms, cleanliness and genuinely welcoming staff. Rendezvous Bay is the main draw; the golf courses, water park, sports facilities and restaurants make this much more than a beach-only escape.
The trade-off is scale rather than intimacy, plus expensive resort dining. Some recent guests flag worn outdoor furnishings and uneven service, although those complaints sit within overwhelmingly positive feedback. We'd skip it for a small, adults-focused retreat. One immediate caveat: Expedia and Hotels.com list the entire resort as closed August 16–October 14, 2026, so confirm reopening before arranging travel around those dates.
