Axel's take: 8.7/10

A strong Disneyland family base, with roomy kitchens-and-breakfast practicality rather than resort extras. a modern 3-star extended-stay hotel near Disneyland, scored for what it is.

Element is a modern 3-star extended-stay hotel that makes particular sense for Disneyland families. We'd pick it for the spacious studios and suites, useful kitchens, and included hot breakfast—not for a resort experience. Recent Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise clean rooms and breakfast, while family layouts with bunk beds add practical appeal. It's a very good option for travelers who will actually use the extra space and cooking facilities.

The trade-offs are worth knowing: allow roughly 15–20 minutes to walk to Disneyland, rather than reading Marriott's “two blocks” as doorstep access. Freeway-facing rooms draw recurring traffic-noise complaints, so light sleepers should request the quieter side. Parking costs extra, and the small pool is better for a quick swim than a pool-focused vacation. We'd skip it if immediate park access or extensive resort amenities matter most.

• Best for: families visiting Disneyland; longer stays with kitchen access; travelers prioritizing space and breakfast

• Watch out for: traffic noise in freeway-facing rooms; paid parking; small pool and a meaningful walk to Disneyland

• Location: Walkable to Disneyland, but allow roughly 15–20 minutes rather than expecting a hotel opposite the gates.

• Rooms: Spacious studios and suites with kitchens; bunk-bed options suit families, though some guests report cooling issues.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength in recent reviews, with occasional housekeeping misses rather than a dominant problem.

• Service: Helpful staff receive frequent praise, although some Tripadvisor guests describe rigid or uneven check-in experiences.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, heated outdoor saline pool, 24-hour gym and guest laundry; the pool is small.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and pets carry extra charges; Marriott says checkout-day parking expires at 1 p.m.
