Axel's take: 8.0/10
Spacious suites and helpful staff make Capri a practical pick, despite dated interiors. A simple 3-star apartment hotel in western Amman, scored for what it is.
Capri is a simple 3-star apartment hotel in Umm Uthayna, better suited to travelers wanting extra space than boutique polish. We'd consider it a strong pick for families and longer visits: recent Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious suites, cleanliness and genuinely helpful reception staff. Cafés and restaurants nearby add convenience, and the overall impression is good value for a straightforward stay.
The main compromise is condition. Guests on both sites mention interiors needing an update, while one October 2025 Booking.com guest reported unresolved plumbing trouble. Kitchenettes also deserve a check before booking: equipment can be limited, so don't assume a fully equipped apartment. Downtown sightseeing generally means a drive. We'd skip it if modern finishes or walking to Amman's principal sights matter more than space and service.
