#7 of 9 hotels in Vastrapur & Bodakdev by Axel's take. Vastrapur & Bodakdev is #4 of 9 places to stay in Ahmedabad. The best hotels in Vastrapur & Bodakdev, ranked · Where to stay in Ahmedabad

Axel's take: 6.8/10

Convenient for the metro, but housekeeping and room comfort are inconsistent. a basic 3-star hotel on the third floor of a commercial building in Thaltej, scored for what it is.

Hotel Kabir is a basic 3-star hotel on the third floor of J.B. Tower in Thaltej. We'd consider it for a short, practical stay near SAL Hospital or Doordarshan Kendra metro, rather than a holiday base. Recent ixigo guests praise the transport connections, nearby dining and, in some cases, spotless rooms and courteous staff. Its restaurant is another plus, with Punjabi food drawing particular praise.

The catch is consistency. Google reviews reproduced on Wanderlog and ixigo's guest summaries flag cleanliness, cramped rooms and poor ventilation, although other guests report comfortable stays. Overall ratings are stronger on Google and Tripadvisor than on ixigo; Tripadvisor's visible reviews are also old. Confirm your room category, breakfast inclusion and working lift before booking. We'd skip it if dependable housekeeping or step-free access is essential.

Best for: short budget stays in Thaltej; visitors needing SAL Hospital nearby; travelers using the metro
Watch out for: uneven housekeeping and room condition; some small, poorly ventilated rooms; confirm working lift access
Location: Near SAL Hospital and Doordarshan Kendra metro; convenient for western Ahmedabad.
Rooms: Air-conditioned rooms in several categories; guest reports differ sharply on space and comfort.
Cleanliness: Some guests praise spotless rooms, while others report dirty bathrooms and worn linen.
Service: Courteous, helpful staff feature in positive reviews, but service is not consistently praised.
Amenities: Restaurant, Wi-Fi and room service are listed; do not assume the catalog's extensive extras.
Fees and surprises: Breakfast inclusion and check-in times vary by listing; confirm these and lift availability directly.
