Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, comfortable beds and clean rooms. The location makes theater nights and exploring central Charlotte on foot easy, while The Asbury restaurant and lobby bar give this small property useful gathering places.

The trade-off is an older building with uneven room sizes and condition: some guests mention small bathrooms, maintenance niggles or rooms that run warm.
