This 3-star Courtyard puts a dependable business-hotel stay inside Amarillo’s historic Fisk Building. It’s a strong pick if you want downtown restaurants and entertainment within walking distance rather than another highway stop. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. The historic setting gives it more personality than a typical Courtyard, without turning it into a luxury hotel.

The trade-offs are mostly practical: breakfast isn’t complimentary, garage parking is generally charged, and there’s no pool.
