Axel's take: 8.6/10

A strong downtown base with helpful staff, useful suites and extra parking costs. a practical 3-star all-suite hotel beside White River State Park, scored for what it is.

This 3-star all-suite hotel is a strong pick for convention trips and family sightseeing, with White River State Park nearby and indoor skywalk access to the convention center. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the helpful front desk, clean rooms and included hot breakfast. Suites add useful lounging space, microwaves and mini-fridges: practical comforts rather than luxury.

The compromises are paid parking, a sometimes awkward shared arrival area and rooms that aren't uniformly fresh. Some recent guests describe worn fittings and maintenance niggles, although positive reports comfortably outweigh them. Management says renovations are planned for 2027; confirm timing before booking rather than assuming an updated room. We'd choose it for location and everyday convenience, but skip it if free parking or a freshly renovated setting is essential.

• Best for: convention attendees; families visiting downtown attractions; travelers wanting extra room space

• Watch out for: Self-parking and valet cost extra; Some rooms show wear; Confirm planned renovation timing

• Location: Beside White River State Park, with indoor skywalk access to the convention center.

• Rooms: Useful suite layouts with microwaves and mini-fridges; some guests report worn fittings.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across Expedia and Tripadvisor, despite occasional misses.

• Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff are the clearest recurring strength.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a fitness center cover the essentials.

• Fees and surprises: Parking costs extra and is subject to availability; management says renovation is planned for 2027.
