Capitol Hill is the choice when the trip revolves around eating, browsing and going out rather than ticking off waterfront sights. Pike/Pine and Broadway bring independent shops, bookstores, music venues and Seattle's most established LGBTQ nightlife. First Hill changes the mood: more residential streets, medical campuses and the Frye Art Museum, rather than the same continuous party district.
