Axel's take: 8.5/10
A strong family all-inclusive, with better pools and hospitality than consistently polished rooms. a large beachfront 5-star all-inclusive family resort, scored for what it is.
Ocean Palace is a large beachfront 5-star all-inclusive on Natal’s Via Costeira, and we’d choose it for an easy family holiday rather than flawless luxury. Its extensive pool complex, children’s activities and included food and drinks give you plenty of reasons to stay put. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the friendly staff, while recent feedback is broadly positive about cleanliness and meal variety.
The weaker point is polish: some guests describe tired rooms and maintenance details that fall short of the premium billing. Check-in can also be slow. Specialty restaurants require reservations, and access depends partly on your stay length, so don’t assume every dining option is freely available every night. It’s a strong pick for pool-focused families; we’d look elsewhere for consistently contemporary rooms or a smaller, quieter hotel.
