Axel's take: 8.2/10

A solid airport stopover, with helpful staff and some wear behind the basics. a no-frills airport hotel with breakfast included, scored for what it is.

This no-frills airport hotel is a strong pick for a short stay before or after a flight. Recent Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, helpful staff and the included hot breakfast; Tripadvisor feedback also supports its practical airport appeal. Free parking, WiFi, an outdoor pool and a gym round out a useful package for the money.

The trade-off is uneven room condition rather than missing essentials. Some Tripadvisor guests describe worn furnishings, noisy heating or air-conditioning and hard mattresses, although newer reviews are mostly positive about comfort and cleanliness. Airport transportation needs a quick call: Hilton advertises complimentary Lyft rides but lists no conventional shuttle, and recent guests describe hotel-arranged rides. We'd choose it for flight logistics, not a polished hotel experience; light sleepers should flag that when requesting a room.

• Best for: overnight airport stays; travelers with early flights; drivers wanting breakfast and parking included

• Watch out for: some worn rooms and noisy HVAC; mixed mattress comfort; confirm hotel-arranged airport rides

• Location: Convenient for Sky Harbor and freeway access; better suited to flight logistics than a downtown stay.

• Rooms: Generally comfortable and often described as spacious, but layouts and condition vary.

• Cleanliness: Strong recent feedback overall, with occasional reports that rooms need deeper cleaning.

• Service: Helpful, friendly staff are a recurring strength across sites, despite occasional check-in complaints.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, WiFi and parking, plus an outdoor pool and fitness center.

• Fees and surprises: Pets incur a nonrefundable fee; confirm airport pickup arrangements rather than assuming a shuttle bus.
