    Choose the Marina District when the resort is the trip. Around Huron Avenue and Renaissance Pointe, casinos concentrate dining, shows, pools and spas inside substantial complexes rather than along a walkable shopping street. Waterfront paths provide some fresh air, and visitors describe pleasant daytime walks between properties, but this is a bayfront stay, not an oceanfront one.
