An appealing campus base, with more character than polish. A university-themed 4-star hotel in downtown Ann Arbor, scored for what it is.

Graduate is a university-themed 4-star in downtown Ann Arbor, and we'd choose it for campus convenience and personality rather than luxury. Its scholarly decor gives it a real sense of place, with restaurants, shops and central campus an easy walk away. Recent Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise comfortable beds, clean rooms and helpful staff; Tripadvisor guests also appreciate the welcoming atmosphere.

The catch is consistency. Recent Tripadvisor reviews describe rooms needing updates, small bathrooms and uneven housekeeping, although positive cleanliness reports remain common. Valet-only parking adds a charge, and several guests report frustrating retrieval delays. Breakfast costs extra, too. It's a strong pick for university visits and downtown weekends, but we'd skip it if you expect thoroughly polished four-star rooms or easy access to your car.
