This mid-range Courtyard is a good pick for a short downtown stay or a night before a cruise, rather than a hotel to build a vacation around. Expedia and Booking.com ratings are broadly positive, with guests repeatedly praising helpful staff, comfortable beds and the walkable location near restaurants, Bayfront Park and the Metromover. Rooms offer useful space, though the overall impression is practical rather than polished.

The trade-offs are aging furnishings, recurring street-noise complaints and extra charges for parking and breakfast. More importantly, guests reported the rooftop pool closed for renovations through an October 1, 2026 review on Hotels.com, despite Marriott still advertising it; reopening could not be confirmed. We'd choose it for convenience, but skip it if quiet nights, fresh interiors or dependable pool access are priorities.
