Axel's take: 9.2/10

Standout service and spacious rooms make this a strong luxury pick, with location caveats. a contemporary five-star luxury hotel on Bellary Road, scored for what it is.

This contemporary five-star on Bellary Road earns its luxury credentials through service, not just facilities. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise warm, proactive staff, spotless rooms and excellent food. We'd make it a strong pick for a business trip or hotel-focused weekend: entry-level rooms measure 42 square metres, and the outdoor pool, gardens, spa and dining give you reasons to stay put.

The main compromise is location: this isn't the best base for exploring central Bengaluru on foot, and journeys depend on traffic. Breakfast isn't included with every booking, so check your inclusions. More importantly, Four Seasons says its management ends on February 28, 2027; confirm the operator and promised benefits for later stays. We'd skip it if walk-out sightseeing matters more than generous rooms and attentive hospitality.

• Best for: business travelers with meetings nearby; couples planning a luxury weekend; travelers prioritizing service and spacious rooms

• Watch out for: car-dependent central sightseeing; breakfast inclusion varies by booking; Four Seasons management ends February 28, 2027

• Location: Bellary Road address north of the central sightseeing core; allow for traffic when planning outings.

• Rooms: Entry-level rooms are 42 square metres; recent guests praise their space, comfort and modern interiors.

• Cleanliness: Consistently strong feedback across Tripadvisor and Expedia, including recent overnight stays.

• Service: Personal attention and helpful staff are the clearest recurring strengths across guest-review sites.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, landscaped gardens, Infuse Spa, 24-hour gym, restaurants and bars.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast and airport transfers can cost extra; parking is complimentary. Confirm arrangements after the announced management change.
