#3 of 3 hotels in Langstrasse by Axel's take. Langstrasse is #5 of 9 places to stay in Zurich. The best hotels in Langstrasse, ranked · Where to stay in Zurich

Axel's take: 7.4/10

Clean rooms and helpful staff, but nightlife noise is the deciding trade-off. a straightforward 3-star in Zurich’s Langstrasse nightlife district, scored for what it is.

Trip Inn Zurich is a straightforward 3-star in the lively Langstrasse district, roughly 15 minutes’ walk from Zurich HB. It’s a good pick for a short city break if you prioritize clean, functional rooms and helpful staff over a polished setting. Booking.com and Hotels.com guests consistently rate cleanliness and service above the location, while recent Trip.com reviews reinforce those strengths. Restaurants and nearby trams make exploring easy.

The catch is the immediate nightlife and red-light surroundings: repeated reports describe late-night street noise, although some guests find their rooms quiet. Room sizes vary, and guest accounts of cooling are inconsistent, so confirm air-conditioning for a summer stay. Breakfast costs extra, and limited paid parking needs advance booking. We’d skip it for light sleepers or families wanting a quiet neighborhood.

Best for: solo travelers on short city breaks; nightlife-friendly couples; travelers arriving by train
Watch out for: late-night noise and red-light surroundings; variable room sizes and cooling; limited paid parking
Location: Walkable to Zurich HB, with nearby trams; the nightlife setting divides guests.
Rooms: Generally functional and comfortable; sizes vary, and summer cooling needs checking.
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across major booking sites, despite occasional individual complaints.
Service: Friendly, helpful reception staff are among the most reliably praised features.
Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, a lobby bar, terrace and optional breakfast buffet cover the basics.
Fees and surprises: Breakfast and parking cost extra; reserve parking ahead, and note that rooms may be in either of two neighboring buildings.
