#7 of 9 hotels in Rustaveli Avenue by Axel's take. Rustaveli Avenue is #6 of 7 places to stay in Tbilisi. The best hotels in Rustaveli Avenue, ranked · Where to stay in Tbilisi

Axel's take: 8.2/10

Choose Adamo for city views and character, not effortless walking or polished service. an independent hillside 4-star boutique hotel, scored for what it is.

Adamo is an independent 4-star boutique hotel on Tbilisi’s Mtatsminda hillside, and it’s a strong pick if views and distinctive interiors matter more than a flat walk home. Booking.com’s broadly positive guest feedback is backed by praise on Tripadvisor for comfortable, clean rooms and welcoming staff. The panoramic restaurant terrace is the standout; book a specifically confirmed city-view room rather than assuming every room shares that outlook.

The hillside is the main compromise: returning from sightseeing means a steep climb or a taxi. Recent reviews also describe some tired finishes, uneven breakfast choice and inconsistent service, although these complaints sit alongside plenty of happy stays. We’d choose it for a scenic couples’ break, but skip it for limited-mobility sightseeing or reliably polished four-star service.

Best for: couples booking a city-view room; travelers who enjoy boutique interiors; sightseers comfortable using taxis
Watch out for: steep uphill return from the center; room views vary substantially; uneven breakfast and service
Location: Mtatsminda hillside above the center; convenient downhill, demanding on the return.
Rooms: Distinctive interiors and varied layouts; some recent guests report aging finishes, and city views are room-specific.
Cleanliness: Strong overall ratings and frequent praise, with a minority of recent reports describing housekeeping lapses.
Service: Many guests praise helpful staff, but responsiveness and problem handling are not consistently reliable.
Amenities: Restaurant terrace, wine bar, garden and free Wi-Fi; spa and sauna are advertised, so confirm availability before relying on them.
Fees and surprises: Free parking is listed; airport transfers cost extra, and breakfast inclusion depends on the booking.
