Axel's take: 8.8/10

A strong family base with roomy suites, praised breakfasts and a separate-building layout. a practical 3-star, all-suite extended-stay hotel near Syracuse’s highways, scored for what it is.

This 3-star, all-suite hotel is a strong pick for families and longer stays around Syracuse. Kitchens and separate living areas make it more useful than a standard roadside room, while free breakfast and parking add value. Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, cleanliness and breakfast variety; Tripadvisor’s strong overall rating supports that picture. Recent guests also describe updated decor and comfortable beds.

The main catch is the layout: guest accommodation is separate from the breakfast lobby, meaning an outdoor walk that may be awkward in winter or with limited mobility. You’ll also want a car for exploring. Expedia listed lobby, exterior and fitness-area renovations through October 9, 2026; completion remains unverified. Confirm that work has finished, and skip it if walkable city life or year-round swimming matters.

• Best for: families wanting separate living space; longer stays with kitchen access; road-trippers with a car

• Watch out for: outdoor walk to breakfast; seasonal outdoor pool only; confirm renovation completion

• Location: Off I-81 and I-90, convenient for airport and mall trips rather than a walkable downtown stay.

• Rooms: Useful suite layouts with kitchens; recent guests report updates, though earlier reviews mention dated furnishings.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, with recent Expedia guests repeatedly describing clean rooms.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a consistent strength, particularly the breakfast team.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, parking and Wi-Fi; seasonal outdoor pool, gym and airport shuttle requiring 24-hour notice.

• Fees and surprises: Pets and EV charging cost extra; Expedia’s September 25–October 9, 2026 renovation notice covered lobby, front desk, gym, business center and exterior.
