Hotels in St. ThomasA simple hilltop hotel with self-catering studios, not a full-service 4-star
6.1/10
Harbor views and spacious studios, but upkeep and check-in reliability need work.
Boundless Bliss is a simple hilltop hotel with self-catering studios, not the full-service 4-star its listing suggests. We'd consider it for a short stay with a rental car: harbor-facing balconies, roomy accommodations and kitchenettes are its strongest assets. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the views, comfortable beds and helpful manager, including several positive reports in 2026.
The trade-offs go beyond dated decor. Other recent guests report worn grounds, uneven cleanliness, pests, power interruptions and trouble finding staff or securing their booked room. The hotel confirms that housekeeping during a stay is available only on request, for a fee; a separate cleaning fee also applies. There is no pool or elevator, and the hillside location makes taxis or a car important. We'd skip it for a polished resort holiday, dependable daily service or an unconfirmed late arrival.
Axel's opinion, from the hotel's website and recent guest reviews, scored for what the hotel is. Sources: Hotel website · Booking.com · Expedia · Trip.com. Reviewed Oct 10, 2026.

Best for: Self-catering travelers with a rental car; Short stays prioritizing harbor views
Watch out for: Uneven upkeep and cleanliness; Confirm arrival arrangements directly; Reported power interruptions
Location: Hilltop harbor views; limited walkability makes a car or taxis important.
Rooms: Spacious studios with kitchens and balconies, but furnishings and finishes can be worn.
Cleanliness: Many clean-room reports, alongside repeated complaints about dirty floors and pests.
Service: The manager earns praise, but recent guests also report unattended reception and reservation problems.
Amenities: Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, free parking and gardens; no pool or elevator.
Fees and surprises: Cleaning fee per stay and paid on-request housekeeping; published check-in hours differ, so confirm directly.
