The Hermitage is a five-star heritage boutique hotel in Menteng, set in a 1920s Art Deco building. It’s a strong pick if you want Jakarta luxury with character rather than another glass tower. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the spacious rooms, comfortable beds and genuinely attentive staff; cleanliness also scores strongly across booking sites. Breakfast earns plenty of praise, while the rooftop pool and La Vue bar add city views to the appeal.
