A strong family base with hotel service, but choose your condo category carefully. an upscale 4-star condominium resort near downtown Aspen, scored for what it is.

The Gant is an upscale condominium resort, not a conventional luxury hotel, and we'd choose it for an Aspen trip where space matters. Full kitchens, separate living areas and daily housekeeping make it particularly practical for families. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise the clean accommodations, helpful staff and complimentary shuttles. Heated pools and hot tubs round out a strong package within walking distance of downtown.

The main compromise is consistency: individually owned condos vary in furnishings and updates, and a specific unit generally isn't guaranteed. Check the Standard, Deluxe and Premier distinctions rather than assuming every photo represents your accommodation. Dining is café-scale, and this isn't ski-in/ski-out. We'd skip it for uniform luxury or doorstep skiing. Plan around the announced renovation closure beginning March 29, 2027, with reopening expected in summer 2028.
