A convenient Parkway address cannot make up for unreliable basics. a basic budget motel on the Parkway near The Island, scored for what it is.

Americana Inn is a basic budget motel within walking distance of The Island, but we'd skip it despite the convenient location and free parking. Its poor overall ratings across Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor point to more than occasional disappointments. Some 2026 Expedia guests praise clean rooms, helpful staff and apparent remodeling, but the improvement is not consistent enough to recommend it.
