Axel's take: 8.6/10

Strong service and clean rooms make this a good city base, with rooftop-noise caveats. an independent 4-star business hotel in Bella Vista with a lively rooftop, scored for what it is.

W&P is an independent 4-star business hotel in Bella Vista, and it's a strong pick for a comfortable city stay rather than a resort escape. Recent Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise the cleanliness, helpful staff, comfortable beds and breakfast. The rooftop pool and lounge give it more personality than a straightforward business hotel, while free parking adds practical appeal.

The main trade-off is quiet: guests across sites mention music and corridor noise, although others report peaceful rooms. Room condition also draws mixed comments, so ask about an updated room away from the rooftop entertainment. Booking.com currently carries a lobby-renovation notice; confirm whether work will affect your dates. We'd skip it if uninterrupted sleep or walking straight into the Colonial Zone is your priority.

• Best for: business travelers in Bella Vista; couples who enjoy rooftop nightlife; city visitors with a car

• Watch out for: rooftop music and corridor noise; uneven room condition; listed lobby renovation

• Location: Bella Vista base for business and dining; not in the Colonial Zone.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds earn praise, but some guests find rooms dated; request an updated, quieter room.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent Expedia and Booking.com feedback.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are among the most consistently praised features.

• Amenities: Rooftop pool and lounge, restaurant, gym and free parking; breakfast inclusion depends on the booking.

• Fees and surprises: Airport transfers and some breakfast plans cost extra; Booking.com lists lobby work without a clear completion date.
