Axel's take: 8.1/10

A solid business base, with welcoming staff and some uneven room upkeep. a practical 4-star business hotel in Naco, scored for what it is.

Radisson Santo Domingo is a practical 4-star business hotel in Naco, strongest for work trips and shopping rather than old-town sightseeing. It's a strong pick if you want spacious rooms, helpful staff and useful city-hotel facilities without needing luxury polish. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming service, while Booking.com guests also highlight comfort and location. The breakfast buffet, especially the made-to-order eggs, earns plenty of favorable mentions.

The trade-off is consistency: some guests report room odors or maintenance niggles, although recent cleanliness feedback is mostly positive. Noise can also be an issue, so light sleepers should request a quiet room. There's an outdoor pool, but fitness access includes a partner club nearby rather than simply an in-house gym. Check whether breakfast is included. We'd skip it for a polished luxury stay or a trip centered on exploring the Colonial Zone on foot.

• Best for: business travelers; shopping-focused city breaks; travelers wanting spacious rooms

• Watch out for: occasional room odors and maintenance issues; noise in some rooms; breakfast not always included

• Location: Naco business-district base near shops and restaurants, rather than the Colonial Zone.

• Rooms: Spacious and generally comfortable; some guests report odors or maintenance niggles.

• Cleanliness: Mostly positive recent feedback, with occasional housekeeping lapses.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are the most consistent strength across guest-review sites.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, dining and meeting facilities; the hotel confirms access to nearby Body Shop Athletic Club.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is listed as free; breakfast inclusion depends on the booking.
