Axel's take: 8.1/10

A practical Piantini base with generous space, but housekeeping needs more consistency. a modern, mid-range apartment-hotel in Piantini, scored for what it is.

Central Suites Tower is a modern, mid-range apartment-hotel, not a full-service luxury four-star. We'd pick it for the apartment space, kitchens and balconies, plus a Piantini location convenient for supermarkets, restaurants and Agora Mall. Booking.com and Expedia guests broadly praise the comfortable accommodation and helpful staff; the rooftop pool, gym and included parking make it particularly practical for business trips and longer visits.

The main compromise is housekeeping. Although overall cleanliness ratings remain strong, several guests describe uneven cleaning, difficulty getting fresh towels or maintenance niggles. Expedia lists housekeeping and linen changes on request, and guests report extra cleaning charges. Confirm the cleaning arrangement before a longer stay. We'd skip it if daily servicing and consistently polished hotel-style service matter more than space and independence.

• Best for: business travelers in Piantini; couples who want apartment space; longer stays with self-catering

• Watch out for: housekeeping on request; confirm charges; uneven cleaning and maintenance; towel changes may need chasing

• Location: Convenient Piantini setting near supermarkets, restaurants and Agora Mall, rather than the historic center.

• Rooms: Spacious one-bedroom apartments with kitchens and balconies; some guests report maintenance shortcomings.

• Cleanliness: Generally well rated, but repeated cleaning complaints suggest inconsistent execution.

• Service: Staff receive plenty of praise, though reception responsiveness and follow-through vary.

• Amenities: Rooftop pool, gym, free Wi-Fi and included covered parking are useful strengths.

• Fees and surprises: Housekeeping and linen changes are on request; confirm cleaning charges and frequency before arrival.
