Axel's take: 8.8/10

A strong Las Condes base, with standout staff and modest leisure facilities. A traditional upscale business hotel in Las Condes, marketed as five-star, scored for what it is.

Regal Pacific is a traditional upscale business hotel in Las Condes, marketed as five-star rather than the catalog’s four. It’s a strong pick for travelers who prioritize helpful staff, comfortable rooms and easy transport over contemporary design. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the hospitality, spacious rooms and breakfast, while Booking.com’s strong cleanliness and comfort scores reinforce the picture. Manquehue metro is practically at the door, with shops and restaurants nearby.

The main compromise is the leisure setup: guest accounts describe a small pool and compact gym, and some find the public areas old-fashioned. Think comfortable city base rather than destination spa hotel. We’d choose it for business or a metro-connected Santiago visit, but skip it if expansive facilities or walking straight into the historic center matter most.

• Best for: Business travelers in Las Condes; Couples prioritizing comfort and service; Sightseers happy to use the metro

• Watch out for: Small pool and compact gym; Some old-fashioned public areas; Historic-center sightseeing requires transport

• Location: Beside Manquehue metro in Las Condes, convenient for shopping and business rather than historic-center walks.

• Rooms: Guests repeatedly praise spacious rooms and comfortable beds; some rooms have Andes views.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength, with strong cleanliness ratings on Booking.com and Expedia.

• Service: Helpful reception, concierge and restaurant staff are recurring highlights across sites.

• Amenities: Well-liked breakfast, restaurant, round-the-clock room service, gym, sauna and whirlpool; pool facilities are small.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists free self-parking; airport transfers cost extra, and travelers should check VAT-exemption requirements.
