Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong Las Condes base with rooftop appeal, though service can be uneven. a modern 4-star tower in Las Condes, scored for what it is.

ICON is a modern 4-star tower in Las Condes, and a strong pick for business trips or a city break built around shopping and restaurants. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise clean, comfortable rooms, the views and easy access to Manquehue metro. The rooftop pool and bar give it more personality than a straightforward business hotel, while the gym and indoor spa pool round out a solid offering.

The trade-off is consistency: recent Tripadvisor guests describe slow restaurant service and uneven problem handling, alongside plenty of positive stays elsewhere. Some also report room noise or maintenance niggles. Check rooftop availability if that is your main reason for booking; an Expedia guest reported losing access during a private event. We'd skip it for a family pool holiday: the hotel explicitly restricts its indoor spa pool to adults.

• Best for: business travelers in Las Condes; couples who enjoy a lively rooftop; shopping-focused city breaks

• Watch out for: uneven restaurant service and problem handling; confirm rooftop access around private events; indoor spa pool restricted to ages 18 and over

• Location: Convenient for Las Condes shopping and dining, with Manquehue metro a short walk away.

• Rooms: Comfort and views earn strong praise; some guests report noise and maintenance issues.

• Cleanliness: A clear strength overall, with strong cleanliness ratings on Booking.com and Expedia.

• Service: Many guests praise helpful staff, but recent Tripadvisor reviews flag slow service and inconsistent responses.

• Amenities: Rooftop pool and bar, gym, sauna and adults-only indoor spa pool; confirm rooftop availability.

• Fees and surprises: Expect an incidental deposit; check breakfast inclusion and parking charges, which booking sites describe differently.
