Axel's take: 8.9/10

A strong luxury beach escape, especially if the resort is your main destination. a large, family-friendly five-star resort on Long Beach, scored for what it is.

This large five-star beachfront resort is a strong pick for families wanting comfortable rooms and plenty to do without leaving the grounds. Recent Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious accommodation, thorough housekeeping, warm staff and the breakfast spread. Pools, a kids’ club, HARNN spa and the sunset-facing INK 360 rooftop bar give it substance beyond the beach. We'd choose it for an easy, well-supported resort holiday rather than an intimate boutique escape.

The main compromise is location: this stretch of Long Beach suits staying put better than exploring town on foot. Budget for transport and resort-priced dining; some guests also consider the spa expensive. Service feedback is overwhelmingly positive, though occasional lapses appear. We'd skip it if walkable local food, nightlife or an adults-only atmosphere matters most.

Best for: families wanting a full-service beach resort; couples planning pool-and-spa days; longer stays in spacious suites or residences
Watch out for: transport needed for town exploration; resort-priced dining and spa treatments; large, family-oriented setting
Location: Directly on Long Beach, around 15 minutes from the airport; less convenient for exploring town on foot.
Rooms: Spacious rooms, suites, residences and villas; comfort and room condition receive consistently strong feedback.
Cleanliness: A clear strength across guest-review sites, with housekeeping repeatedly praised.
Service: Warm, attentive staff are a recurring highlight, with occasional service lapses rather than a dominant complaint.
Amenities: Multiple pools, kids’ club, gym, HARNN spa, varied dining and INK 360 rooftop bar.
Fees and surprises: Airport transfers carry a charge; parking is complimentary, while Club privileges require an eligible booking.
