Axel's take: 8.4/10

A strong extended-stay pick for clean suites, useful kitchens and welcoming staff. a practical 3-star extended-stay hotel near I-10 and I-110, scored for what it is.

This practical 3-star extended-stay hotel is a strong pick if you want a kitchen and everyday convenience rather than a beach address. Expedia and Booking.com guests consistently praise clean rooms and welcoming staff, with recent reviews largely reinforcing that picture. Visit Pensacola dates the completed renovation to January 2025. Free breakfast and parking, plus an outdoor pool and guest laundry, make it a useful base for families and longer stays.

The trade-off is location: shops, restaurants and highway access are the draw, not walk-out sightseeing or sand. Room choices center on queen beds, so check the layout rather than assuming every suite has separate bedrooms. Some guests still find the rooms older-feeling despite the refresh. We'd skip it for a beach-first vacation or if a king bed is essential.

• Best for: longer stays with self-catering; families needing separate-bedroom options; travelers with a car

• Watch out for: a drive to the beach and downtown; queen beds rather than kings; some rooms still feel older

• Location: Convenient for highways, shopping and nearby hospitals; no airport shuttle.

• Rooms: Kitchen-equipped studios and one- or two-bedroom suites; check the exact sleeping layout.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com and recent Expedia guest reviews.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff earn repeated praise across several sites.

• Amenities: Included breakfast, outdoor pool, gym and guest laundry; no indoor pool listed by Marriott.

• Fees and surprises: On-site parking is free; pets incur a nonrefundable fee, and housekeeping is every other day.
