Axel's take: 9.3/10

An excellent beach-first choice, but confirm the reported October closure before booking. a simple, limited-service beachfront hotel with Gulf-facing balconies, scored for what it is.

This simple, limited-service beachfront hotel is a strong pick for travelers who want sand and sea views rather than resort extras. Every room has a private Gulf-facing balcony, and recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the cleanliness, helpful staff and generous breakfast. Free parking adds practical value, while the quieter beachfront setting suits families and couples.

The immediate catch: Expedia lists the entire property as closed October 8–31, 2026, with dates subject to change; confirm reopening directly before committing. Otherwise, the trade-offs are straightforward: there’s an outdoor pool but no indoor pool or on-site restaurant, and beach chairs and umbrellas cost extra. We’d skip it if full-service dining and extensive resort facilities matter more than a clean, comfortable beach base.

• Best for: families wanting easy beach access; couples seeking a quieter beachfront; travelers who value breakfast and parking included

• Watch out for: Reported property closure October 8–31, 2026; No on-site restaurant or indoor pool; Beach chair and umbrella rentals cost extra

• Location: Direct beachfront on a quieter stretch, within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

• Rooms: Every room has a private Gulf-facing balcony; guests frequently praise the space and comfort.

• Cleanliness: A standout strength across recent Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews.

• Service: Consistently praised as friendly and helpful, with occasional isolated housekeeping lapses.

• Amenities: Free breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking, plus an outdoor pool and fitness center; no restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: Beach seating rentals are extra; Expedia reports an October 8–31, 2026 closure, so verify reopening.
