Scandic Vulkan is a practical 4-star city hotel whose biggest advantage is its neighborhood: Mathallen next door, Akerselva riverside walks nearby and Grünerløkka’s restaurants within easy reach. It’s a strong pick for travelers who prefer exploring local food and nightlife to staying beside Central Station.
