Axel's take: 6.4/10

Useful space and Manhattan buses, but upkeep lets this budget base down. An aging, budget-friendly 3-star suite hotel in Secaucus, scored for what it is.

This aging, budget-friendly 3-star suite hotel makes its strongest case through practicality: spacious rooms, free parking and breakfast, and a Manhattan-bound bus stop just outside. We'd consider it for a short, cost-conscious trip where space matters more than polish. Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, and plenty report comfortable beds and satisfactory rooms.

The catch is inconsistent upkeep, not simply dated decor. Recent reviews across sites describe worn bathrooms, dirty common-area carpets and uneven cleaning, alongside more positive stays. Booking.com and Expedia's overall ratings reinforce that mixed picture. The indoor swimming pool is listed as unavailable from September 9, 2026 through March 31, 2027, subject to change. We'd skip it if reliable cleanliness, fresh interiors or a swim are priorities; its location is more convincing than its condition.

• Best for: Budget-minded Manhattan visitors; Short Meadowlands trips; Travelers wanting suite space and free parking

• Watch out for: Uneven cleaning and worn interiors; Indoor pool closure listed through March 31, 2027; Housekeeping may not be daily

• Location: Bus stop outside for Manhattan; convenient for American Dream and MetLife Stadium.

• Rooms: Spacious suites with microwaves and refrigerators, but recurring reports of worn furnishings and bathrooms.

• Cleanliness: Mixed: many clean-room reports, but repeated complaints about carpets, common areas and bathroom cleaning.

• Service: Helpful, welcoming staff are a recurring strength across recent guest reviews.

• Amenities: Free breakfast, parking and Wi-Fi; gym advertised, but the indoor pool is listed as closed.

• Fees and surprises: Pet fees and a refundable damage deposit apply; confirm housekeeping frequency and pool reopening before booking.
