Axel's take: 7.7/10

A convenient Broadway base, with fresh rooms but uneven housekeeping and limited extras. a modern, limited-service 3-star in the Theater District, scored for what it is.

Cambria is a modern, limited-service 3-star just off Times Square: a good pick for theatergoers who prioritize location over hotel facilities. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff, comfortable beds and generally clean rooms; several find it surprisingly quiet for the setting. We'd choose it for a short sightseeing stay rather than a trip built around the hotel.

The trade-offs are compact rooms and inconsistent follow-through. Housekeeping misses and unavailable luggage storage recur across sites, despite the largely positive service feedback. Choice advertises a restaurant and bar, but August and September 2026 guests reported them closed or unavailable; confirm current operation before relying on either. We'd skip it if you need dependable bag storage after checkout, generous room space or full-service amenities.

• Best for: Broadway theatergoers; Short sightseeing stays; Travelers prioritizing a central location

• Watch out for: Recurring housekeeping misses; Reported lack of luggage storage; Restaurant and bar operation unconfirmed

• Location: Steps from Times Square and Broadway theaters, with subway stations nearby.

• Rooms: Modern and comfortable overall, but compact; several guests report relatively quiet rooms.

• Cleanliness: Generally praised, though missed cleaning and replenishment recur in recent feedback.

• Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff are a strength; handling of requests is less consistent.

• Amenities: Free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception; advertised restaurant and bar were unavailable to some recent guests.

• Fees and surprises: Choice lists paid valet parking; confirm dining availability and luggage arrangements directly.
