Axel's take: 8.9/10

A strong Nashville base for clean rooms and friendly service, not walk-out nightlife. a simple, limited-service chain hotel north of downtown, scored for what it is.

This is a simple, limited-service chain hotel in Metrocenter, rather than the heart of downtown Nashville. It's a strong pick if you want comfortable rooms and dependable basics without needing Broadway outside your door. Expedia and Booking.com guests consistently praise cleanliness, comfortable beds and helpful staff; recent Tripadvisor reviews reinforce the welcome and well-stocked breakfast. Included hot breakfast, a gym and a seasonal outdoor pool make it a well-rounded option for its class.

The main compromise is location: plan on transport to the downtown music venues rather than an easy stroll. Parking costs extra, and IHG currently lists no local shuttle. Some recent guests describe complimentary downtown Uber rides, but confirm eligibility and availability before relying on them. We'd skip it if walking between the hotel and nightlife is the priority.

• Best for: value-minded Nashville visitors; families wanting breakfast included; travelers comfortable driving or using rideshares

• Watch out for: not in the walkable Broadway core; paid parking; confirm any complimentary rideshare benefit

• Location: Metrocenter, north of downtown; transport is the practical choice for Broadway.

• Rooms: Guests regularly praise spacious layouts, comfortable beds and good overall condition.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Expedia, Booking.com and recent Tripadvisor feedback.

• Service: Warm, helpful front-desk and breakfast staff receive repeated praise.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi, fitness center and seasonal outdoor pool.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is charged; IHG lists no local or airport shuttle, despite guest reports of rideshare assistance.
