Casa Munras is a mid-range, hacienda-style hotel with a low-rise, motel-style layout, attractive gardens and more amenities than a basic overnight stop. We'd pick it for a relaxed Monterey break: recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff. Estéban restaurant gets plenty of praise too, while the heated outdoor pool and complimentary bikes add useful extras. Downtown restaurants and Fisherman's Wharf are walkable.
