NU is a small 4-star design hotel that makes more sense as a well-connected neighborhood base than a doorstep-to-the-Duomo address. Its individually designed rooms give it character, while Tripadvisor and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Breakfast on the sixth-floor rooftop is another consistent strength. We'd pick it for business trips or city breaks where taking the metro is part of the plan.

The main reservation is climate control: several recent Expedia guests describe overheated rooms or ineffective thermostats, while Tripadvisor reviews mention noisy ventilation.
