Axel's take: 8.2/10

A strong budget base in Zona Rosa, with compact rooms and some rough edges. a colorful, no-frills 3-star in Zona Rosa, scored for what it is.

This colorful, no-frills 3-star is a strong pick for exploring Mexico City without paying for facilities you won't use. Zona Rosa puts restaurants, nightlife and Reforma within easy reach. Recent Expedia and Accor guests repeatedly praise clean rooms and friendly staff, making this a convincing choice for travelers who prioritize location and dependable basics over space.

The compromises are compact rooms, simple furnishings and breakfast that some guests find repetitive. Shower fittings attract recurring criticism across Expedia and Accor reviews, while a recent Accor guest flags nighttime street noise on the first floor. We'd request a higher room if sleep matters. Choose it for an active city break; skip it if you want generous room space, polished bathrooms or a reliably quiet retreat.

• Best for: budget-conscious city explorers; Zona Rosa nightlife visitors; short sightseeing stays

• Watch out for: compact standard rooms; street noise on lower floors; basic shower fittings

• Location: Walkable Zona Rosa base near Reforma, restaurants and Insurgentes transit.

• Rooms: Double rooms start at 17 square meters; practical rather than spacious, with air conditioning.

• Cleanliness: Broadly positive recent feedback, despite occasional housekeeping complaints.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength; front-desk experiences are not uniformly smooth.

• Amenities: Wi-Fi and breakfast cover the basics; breakfast variety divides guests on longer stays.

• Fees and surprises: Check breakfast inclusion; dogs incur a fee, and parking listings conflict, so confirm arrangements directly.
