Axel's take: 8.6/10

A strong downtown choice for clean rooms and river views, with valet frustrations. a full-service 4-star convention hotel on the downtown riverfront, scored for what it is.

Little Rock Marriott is a full-service 4-star convention hotel whose strongest selling points are practical: direct access to the Statehouse Convention Center, walkable downtown dining and Arkansas River views. It’s a strong pick for conference trips or a downtown weekend. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms and welcoming staff, while Booking.com feedback broadly agrees. We'd prioritize a river-view room over expecting a boutique atmosphere.

The main trade-off is parking: hotel parking is paid valet only, and several guests describe waits at busy times. Breakfast generally costs extra, and M Club access isn't standard with every room. Some recent guests also report warm rooms or weak air circulation. We'd skip it if easy car access, an included breakfast or reliably cool sleeping temperatures matter more than the central location.

  • Best for: Statehouse Convention Center attendees; downtown weekend visitors; travelers seeking river views

  • Watch out for: Paid valet-only hotel parking and peak-time waits; Breakfast and club access generally extra; Some reports of warm rooms

  • Location: Connected to the convention center, with downtown restaurants and riverfront attractions within walking distance.

  • Rooms: Comfortable rooms and river views draw praise; some guests report weak cooling or limited drawer space.

  • Cleanliness: Consistently praised across recent Tripadvisor, Expedia and Booking.com feedback.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength; valet handling can slow down during busy periods.

  • Amenities: Steakhouse, fitness center, sauna and reservable complimentary airport shuttle; M Club requires eligible access.

  • Fees and surprises: Hotel parking is paid valet only; breakfast usually costs extra, and oversized vehicles incur additional parking charges.
