#5 of 9 hotels in KL Sentral & Brickfields by Axel's take. KL Sentral & Brickfields is #4 of 6 places to stay in Kuala Lumpur. The best hotels in KL Sentral & Brickfields, ranked · Where to stay in Kuala Lumpur

Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong budget base for train connections, with small rooms and some noise. a no-frills 3-star beside KL Sentral’s monorail station, scored for what it is.

Easy Hotel KL Sentral is a no-frills 3-star that gets the budget essentials right: convenient transport, generally clean rooms and helpful staff. Booking.com and recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcome and easy access to KL Sentral through NU Sentral mall. We'd pick it for a short, transit-focused stay rather than a hotel-centered holiday. The small rooftop gym and garden are useful extras at this level.

The main compromise is space: bedrooms and bathrooms are compact, and some rooms lack windows. Street and monorail noise, plus sound carrying between rooms, can undermine sleep. Breakfast is a limited-choice local meal at the neighboring restaurant, not a hotel buffet. It's good value if you're out exploring; we'd skip it for a spacious family stay or reliably quiet nights.

Best for: budget travelers using public transport; short stays and rail connections; solo city explorers
Watch out for: compact rooms and bathrooms; street, monorail and neighboring-room noise; some rooms have no windows
Location: Beside the monorail and opposite NU Sentral, with convenient access to KL Sentral and nearby dining.
Rooms: Simple, air-conditioned and compact; check window availability before booking.
Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, with recent guests repeatedly praising clean rooms and housekeeping.
Service: Friendly, accommodating staff are a consistent strength across review sites.
Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, a small rooftop gym and garden; breakfast uses the neighboring restaurant.
Fees and surprises: Early check-in and late checkout can cost extra; confirm breakfast inclusion and taxes payable on arrival.
