#7 of 9 hotels in Bukit Bintang by Axel's take. Bukit Bintang is #1 of 6 places to stay in Kuala Lumpur. The best hotels in Bukit Bintang, ranked · Where to stay in Kuala Lumpur
Axel's take: 7.8/10
A strong shopping base, but location outshines the rooms and facilities. a straightforward 4-star city hotel in the heart of Bukit Bintang, scored for what it is.
ANSA is a straightforward 4-star city hotel whose biggest selling point is being right in Bukit Bintang. We'd pick it for a shopping-and-food break: Pavilion, Lot 10 and rail connections are minutes away. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the location, with plenty of positive feedback on room size, comfortable beds and helpful staff. It's a practical base rather than somewhere to spend the whole day.
The trade-off is uneven upkeep. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor reviews mention tired finishes and maintenance faults alongside otherwise comfortable stays; cleanliness is generally rated well, but isn't faultless. There’s no pool or gym, and some room layouts offer limited bathroom privacy. The hotel's FAQ says housekeeping runs every two days, while breakfast packages can involve café vouchers rather than a buffet. We'd skip it for a facilities-focused holiday or reliably polished four-star comfort.
