Axel's take: 7.9/10

A practical highway stop with friendly staff, but breakfast and upkeep have limits. a no-frills budget Hilton just off I-75, scored for what it is.

This is a no-frills budget Hilton, best treated as a convenient overnight stop rather than a downtown Knoxville base. We'd consider it for a road trip: Expedia and Booking.com show broadly positive guest ratings, with clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff doing most of the work. Free parking and continental breakfast add useful value, and restaurants are nearby.

The trade-offs are a sparse breakfast and uneven maintenance. Recent guests mention hallway or air-conditioning noise, while some report plumbing faults and worn carpets. A July 2026 guest reported construction; whether that work continues is unconfirmed. Earlier elevator outages also warrant checking if stairs are a problem. We'd skip it for a reliably quiet stay or a fuller-service hotel experience.

• Best for: road-trip overnight stops; budget-conscious travelers with a car; travelers bringing pets

• Watch out for: limited continental breakfast; hallway and air-conditioning noise; check construction and elevator status before arrival

• Location: Easy I-75 access near restaurants; downtown and the university require a drive.

• Rooms: Updated, basic rooms; comfort earns praise, but noise and maintenance complaints recur.

• Cleanliness: Generally a strength, though some guests report dirty carpets and housekeeping misses.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a consistent positive across booking and review sites.

• Amenities: Free continental breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking, plus a fitness center and laundry facilities.

• Fees and surprises: Pets incur a nonrefundable fee with size limits; construction and elevator reliability need direct confirmation.
