Axel's take: 6.2/10

Useful kitchens and helpful staff, but inconsistent upkeep makes this a cautious choice. a basic 2-star extended-stay chain hotel near I-40, scored for what it is.

This basic 2-star extended-stay hotel near I-40 works best for budget travelers who need a kitchen rather than hotel extras. Full-size fridges, stovetops and guest laundry make longer stays practical, while West Town Mall and everyday shopping are nearby. Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, and some report clean, comfortable rooms. Still, we'd call it a conditional pick, not a dependable bargain.

The recurring drawbacks go beyond dated decor: Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests describe cigarette odors, worn furniture, sagging beds or stained linens. Engine reviews dated September 2026 also report ongoing room renovations, construction smells and room moves; confirm whether that work affects your stay. Breakfast is grab-and-go, and housekeeping isn't daily. We'd skip it if you're sensitive to smoke or want reliably fresh rooms.

• Best for: budget travelers needing a kitchen; longer stays near West Knoxville shopping

• Watch out for: recurring cigarette odors despite a non-smoking policy; uneven cleanliness and worn beds; renovation disruption reported in September 2026

• Location: Convenient for I-40 and West Town Mall; better for West Knoxville errands than a downtown-focused stay.

• Rooms: Kitchens add practicality, but guests repeatedly flag tired furniture and uncomfortable or sagging mattresses.

• Cleanliness: Mixed: clean-room praise sits alongside recurring reports of smoke smells and stained or damaged linens.

• Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff are the most consistent positive across guest accounts.

• Amenities: Full kitchens, guest laundry, free Wi-Fi and parking; breakfast is a basic grab-and-go offering.

• Fees and surprises: Pet fees and paid extra housekeeping apply; confirm cleaning frequency and the status of September 2026 renovation work.
