#6 of 6 hotels in Ash Shati by Axel's take. Ash Shati is #3 of 5 places to stay in Jeddah. The best hotels in Ash Shati, ranked · Where to stay in Jeddah
Axel's take: 7.1/10
A convenient Corniche base, but room upkeep and unreliable facilities weaken the appeal. A mid-range hotel near Jeddah’s Corniche, marketed as four-star, scored for what it is.
Prime Al Corniche is a mid-range hotel marketed as four-star, with a location that does more convincing than its facilities. We'd consider it for a short, location-first stay: guests repeatedly praise the spacious rooms, helpful staff and easy access to the waterfront. Booking.com and Expedia ratings sit around the mid-sevens, suggesting a generally satisfactory hotel rather than a consistently polished one.
The trade-off is uneven upkeep. Recent reviews mix clean, comfortable stays with complaints about bathroom drainage, towels and maintenance. Despite pool listings, guests on multiple sites report it unavailable, including an empty pool in June 2026; don't book around swimming without confirmation. A March 2026 guest also reported construction beside Building B, although little noise. We'd skip it if dependable leisure facilities or consistently sharp housekeeping matter more than location and room size.
-

-
