Strong on comfort and cleanliness, but renovations complicate the five-star promise. a modern 5-star city hotel in Jeddah’s Al Ruwais district, scored for what it is.

Millennium Al Masar is a modern 5-star city hotel in Al Ruwais, and a strong pick for business trips or a comfortable Jeddah base. Booking.com’s large review pool is especially positive about cleanliness and comfort; recent Tripadvisor guests reinforce the praise for welcoming staff, comfortable beds and varied breakfasts. The sixth-floor outdoor pool adds appeal, though this is a city hotel rather than a waterfront resort.

The main reservation is unfinished facilities: the official website currently lists the spa as under renovation, while Booking.com also flags improvement works. Ask what will be operating during your stay. Some guests report corridor or neighboring-room noise, and a few describe room-assignment mistakes or slow reception responses, although these are not the dominant experience. We’d skip it for a spa-led escape; for city stays, its strengths remain persuasive.

• Best for: business travelers; couples exploring Jeddah; travelers prioritizing clean, comfortable rooms

• Watch out for: Spa renovation and ongoing improvement works; Some reports of room and corridor noise; Occasional room-assignment or reception hiccups

• Location: Al Ruwais base near the older Corniche area; plan on using a car for wider sightseeing.

• Rooms: Modern interiors and comfortable beds earn praise, but sound insulation receives mixed feedback.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Expedia guest feedback.

• Service: Usually warm and helpful, with occasional complaints about reception responsiveness and room allocation.

• Amenities: Outdoor sixth-floor pool and a 24-hour gym; the official site lists the spa as under renovation.

• Fees and surprises: Self-parking is listed as free; check breakfast inclusion and the scope of renovation work before booking.
