Axel's take: 8.6/10

A strong choice for spacious rooms and helpful staff, but choose your room carefully. a full-service 4-star city hotel near the Al-Ruwais waterfront, scored for what it is.

This full-service 4-star near the Al-Ruwais waterfront is a strong pick for a comfortable Jeddah base rather than a beach holiday. Booking.com and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean rooms and welcoming staff; breakfast also earns plenty of approval. IHG confirms a rooftop outdoor pool, gym and complimentary parking, giving it a useful spread of facilities for business trips and sightseeing.

Room choice matters: guests on Expedia and Trip.com report air-conditioning hum and noise through connecting doors, while some describe limited windows or disappointing outlooks. Book a sea-view category if the view matters, and request a quiet, non-connecting room. The pool is small rather than resort-style. An August 2026 guest also reported access-road works; completion is unverified. We'd skip it for a beachfront escape or if uninterrupted sleep is your overriding priority.

• Best for: business travelers; sightseers using a car or taxis; travelers wanting spacious rooms

• Watch out for: air-conditioning hum and connecting-room noise; limited outlooks in some room categories; access-road works reported in August 2026

• Location: Near the Al-Ruwais waterfront, not directly beachfront; a practical base with a car or taxis.

• Rooms: Generally spacious and comfortable; confirm the outlook and request a quiet, non-connecting room.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across booking sites, with occasional bathroom-cleaning or upkeep complaints.

• Service: Welcoming, helpful staff are a recurring strength, despite occasional reception complaints.

• Amenities: Small rooftop outdoor pool, gym, restaurants and free Wi-Fi; breakfast is generally well received.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is complimentary; breakfast inclusion depends on the booking, and reported roadworks remain unverified.
