A comfortable Al Hamra base with praised breakfasts, but expect taxi trips. an independent, mid-range 4-star in Jeddah’s Al Hamra district, scored for what it is.

Blue Diamond is an independent, mid-range 4-star in Al Hamra, and a strong pick for travelers prioritizing clean, spacious rooms over luxury polish. Booking.com’s large review pool is firmly positive, while recent Trip.com guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, helpful staff and generous breakfasts. The hotel confirms an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and free parking, making this a practical base for business trips or relaxed city stays.

The trade-off is convenience rather than comfort: restaurants and the Corniche are nearby, but guests on several sites recommend taxis for broader sightseeing. Some furnishings and facilities feel dated. A June 2026 Agoda guest reported a small gym with a broken treadmill; an October 2025 Tripadvisor guest mentioned surrounding construction, whose current status is unconfirmed. We’d skip it for polished luxury or sightseeing entirely on foot.

• Best for: business travelers; travelers with a car; couples prioritizing comfort and breakfast

• Watch out for: Taxi trips for broader sightseeing; Small gym; equipment condition worth checking; Nearby construction reported in October 2025; current status unconfirmed

• Location: Al Hamra near the Corniche and restaurants; less convenient for exploring the wider city on foot.

• Rooms: Spacious and comfortable overall, though some guests find the furnishings and facilities dated.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Trip.com reviews.

• Service: Helpful staff attract substantial praise, outweighing occasional reports of indifferent reception.

• Amenities: Indoor pool, sauna, steam room, small gym, restaurant and 24-hour room service.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is free; breakfast and extra beds can cost extra, so check what your booking includes.
