Axel's take: 8.5/10

A strong family all-inclusive, with standout staff and some room-allocation wrinkles. a lively 4-star all-inclusive family resort with a water park, scored for what it is.

Sindbad Club is a lively 4-star all-inclusive in Hurghada that makes most sense for families wanting plenty to do without leaving the resort. We'd pick it for the water park, sandy private beach and consistently praised staff rather than polished interiors. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, while Tripadvisor reviews also highlight varied food and entertaining evening shows. A quieter main pool gives you an alternative to the slides and activities.

The beach is a short walk across a road, not directly outside every room. Rooms vary in condition, and several recent guests describe initially receiving accommodation different from what they booked; confirm your category and request distance from evening entertainment. Wi-Fi also draws complaints. We'd skip it for a hushed romantic escape or reliably contemporary rooms, but it's a strong choice for an active family holiday.

Best for: families who love pools and slides; all-inclusive travelers who enjoy entertainment; beachgoers wanting shops nearby
Watch out for: short road crossing to the beach; variable rooms and occasional allocation problems; patchy Wi-Fi
Location: Near the airport and local shops; the private beach is a short walk across a road.
Rooms: Comfortable accommodation earns praise, but condition varies; double-check your booked category.
Cleanliness: A clear strength in recent reviews, especially housekeeping and upkeep of shared areas.
Service: Friendly, hardworking staff are the main asset; room-allocation disputes show less consistent problem handling.
Amenities: Water slides, a wave pool, quieter main pool, gym and evening entertainment; the wave pool is not winter-heated.
Fees and surprises: Water-park access is included; airport transfers and spa treatments cost extra.
