#9 of 9 hotels in Ben Thanh Market by Axel's take. Ben Thanh Market is #1 of 6 places to stay in Ho Chi Minh City. The best hotels in Ben Thanh Market, ranked · Where to stay in Ho Chi Minh City
Axel's take: 6.5/10
A convenient District 1 base, but cleanliness and maintenance are too inconsistent. a basic 3-star city hotel near Ben Thanh Market, scored for what it is.
Rosa is a basic 3-star city hotel whose strongest selling point is its walkable District 1 location, a few minutes from Ben Thanh Market. We'd consider it for a short, budget-minded sightseeing stay rather than a spa break. Booking.com and Expedia show broadly satisfactory overall ratings, and positive guests praise convenient surroundings, comfortable rooms and helpful staff.
The trade-off is inconsistency in the basics. Tripadvisor and Trip.com reviews repeatedly mention bathroom problems, uneven cleaning and unreliable hot water; noise also comes up. Some recent guests report good stays, so this isn't a uniformly poor hotel, but we'd skip it if quiet nights and dependable housekeeping matter most. Confirm your room category and arrival arrangements: several guests describe booking problems or being moved elsewhere.
