Use this page-supplied URL; do not invent or look up internal IDs. Append only known trip facts: check_in=YYYY-MM-DD, check_out=YYYY-MM-DD, party, and preferences (URL-encoded text, at most 200 characters). Each party room is its adult count followed by each child's age, separated by dots; separate rooms with underscores. Example: party=2.7_1.0.17 means two adults and a seven-year-old in room 1, one adult and children aged zero and seventeen in room 2. Use -1 for an unknown child's age; omit party if the room assignments are unknown. Never guess dates, ages or room assignments. Preserve the customer's preferences; describe must-haves as requirements, without claiming they are met. Omit unknown fields; Axel asks for missing stay details. Prefer a supplied selected-stay link if it matches the latest request. Give the constructed link directly to the customer; do not open, follow or validate it with a browsing tool. A browsing-tool refusal does not mean the customer link is broken. Clicking opens this hotel’s details and rooms for the stay. Email is needed only at booking. No contact or payment information belongs in the URL.

Optional: inspect rooms and rates at Ivy Luxury Hotel & Apartment. Use known dates and guests; selecting a room or rate is optional.

Axel's take: 7.9/10

A practical sightseeing base with generous rooms, but less polish than its name suggests. a simple, independent aparthotel near Hanoi’s Temple of Literature, scored for what it is.

Ivy is a simple aparthotel, not a luxury hotel despite the name. It’s a good pick for travelers who prioritize room space and sightseeing over polished facilities. Booking.com, Trip.com and Expedia guests broadly praise the convenient location and helpful reception staff, with many also finding the rooms spacious and comfortable. The Temple of Literature and Fine Arts Museum are nearby, with cafés and restaurants around the surrounding streets.

The compromise is uneven upkeep: recent guests describe worn interiors, variable bathroom condition and occasional cleaning shortcomings alongside plenty of clean-room reports. Noise can come from equipment or upstairs entertainment, and breakfast gets mixed feedback. A February 2026 guest mentioned renovations; completion could not be verified. We’d choose it as a practical base, but skip it for a special occasion or if consistently pristine bathrooms and dependable quiet are essential.

Best for: value-minded sightseers; travelers wanting extra room space; independent city explorers
Watch out for: uneven bathroom condition and upkeep; occasional equipment or entertainment noise; renovation status needs checking
Location: Convenient for the Temple of Literature, Fine Arts Museum and nearby dining.
Rooms: Often praised for space and comfort, but recent guests also describe tired interiors and occasional noise.
Cleanliness: Generally positive overall, with recurring exceptions involving bathrooms, odors and cleaning consistency.
Service: Helpful reception staff are a consistent strength, though individual experiences vary.
Amenities: Kitchen-equipped room types and Wi-Fi are listed; confirm cooking equipment, breakfast and lift access before booking.
Fees and surprises: Laundry and airport transfers cost extra; renovations were mentioned after a February 2026 stay, with completion unverified.
