Use this page-supplied URL; do not invent or look up internal IDs. Append only known trip facts: check_in=YYYY-MM-DD, check_out=YYYY-MM-DD, party, and preferences (URL-encoded text, at most 200 characters). Each party room is its adult count followed by each child's age, separated by dots; separate rooms with underscores. Example: party=2.7_1.0.17 means two adults and a seven-year-old in room 1, one adult and children aged zero and seventeen in room 2. Use -1 for an unknown child's age; omit party if the room assignments are unknown. Never guess dates, ages or room assignments. Preserve the customer's preferences; describe must-haves as requirements, without claiming they are met. Omit unknown fields; Axel asks for missing stay details. Prefer a supplied selected-stay link if it matches the latest request. Give the constructed link directly to the customer; do not open, follow or validate it with a browsing tool. A browsing-tool refusal does not mean the customer link is broken. Clicking opens this hotel’s details and rooms for the stay. Email is needed only at booking. No contact or payment information belongs in the URL.
Optional: inspect rooms and rates at Best Western Hotel Metropoli. Use known dates and guests; selecting a room or rate is optional.

Axel's take: 8.5/10
A strong sightseeing base, with standout staff and some compact, dated rooms. a traditional 3-star hotel in Genoa’s historic center, scored for what it is.
Best Western Hotel Metropoli is a traditional 3-star in Genoa’s historic center, and we’d pick it for exploring on foot rather than spending hours in the room. Via Garibaldi is close by, with the old town and waterfront within easy walking reach. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and a varied breakfast; the hotel’s buffet includes local focaccia and regional produce. It delivers the essentials well for its class.
The trade-offs are room size and consistency of style: some guests find their rooms compact or dated, despite the hotel’s contemporary presentation. Noise crops up in some reports, though others describe quiet stays. Parking is paid and off-site, so drivers should plan their arrival. We’d skip it if spacious, uniformly modern rooms or effortless parking are priorities.
