#7 of 9 hotels in Dubai Marina & JBR by Axel's take. Dubai Marina & JBR is #4 of 10 places to stay in Dubai. The best hotels in Dubai Marina & JBR, ranked · Where to stay in Dubai

Axel's take: 8.5/10

Strong rooms and service make this a lively luxury pick, but check beach access. a lively 5-star beachfront hotel on JBR’s The Walk, scored for what it is.

Rixos Premium Dubai JBR is a lively 5-star beachfront hotel, and a strong pick for travelers who want restaurants and nightlife alongside their beach holiday. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, comfortable rooms and helpful staff; sea-view rooms are a particular draw. The Walk location makes dining out easy, while the gym, spa and kids’ club give it more substance than a party hotel.

The trade-off is bustle: guests report loud music and crowded pool areas, so we’d skip it for a reliably quiet escape. Recent facility works also warrant checking directly: adult-pool renovations were scheduled through mid-October 2026, while booking notices flag JBR shoreline works restricting direct swimming-beach access until the second half of October. Reopening is not independently confirmed. Don’t assume the All Inclusive Collection branding means meals and drinks are included; check your booked plan.

Best for: couples who enjoy nightlife; beach-and-city holidays; travelers prioritizing service and clean rooms
Watch out for: music noise and busy pool areas; confirm adult-pool reopening and direct beach access; meals and drinks depend on the booked plan
Location: Excellent for The Walk’s restaurants and JBR beach life; shoreline works may affect direct swimming access.
Rooms: Comfortable contemporary rooms; sea views earn particular praise, but music can disturb some rooms.
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia feedback.
Service: Staff and housekeeping receive substantial praise, with some reports of queues and uneven problem handling.
Amenities: Pools, gym, spa and kids’ club; confirm adult-pool availability following recent renovations.
Fees and surprises: Check meal inclusions, the arrival deposit and local tourism tax; a compulsory New Year’s Eve dinner costs extra.
